Ortus Secured Finance has introduced a five-year commercial mortgage, expanding its suite of financing solutions.
Aimed at commercial property investors and owner-occupiers, the lender’s product merges the long-term stability of a mortgage with the flexibility of bridging finance. It features a 65% maximum loan-to-value (LTV), a loan range from £500,000 to £25 million, and allows overpayments of up to 10% annually without early repayment charges after the second year.
The interest cover ratio (ICR) is set at 100% from 5.5% plus the Bank of England Base Rate (BBR). Jamie Russell, commercial director, emphasised the addition as a natural progression in Ortus' commitment to commercial property finance, stating it will aid clients beyond bridging or acquisition loans.
